Heather Teague: Part 1
On August 26, 1995, 23-year-old Heather Teague was sunbathing on Newburgh Beach in Henderson County, Kentucky. She was enjoying her Saturday afternoon when all of a sudden a man in cut-off jeans and no shirt appeared and grabbed her by the hair, dragging her backwards into the woods. The only witness to the abduction? A man across the river watching through the lens of a telescope. This may sound like the beginning of a horror movie, but unfortunately, it was the very real beginning to a case that has led to more questions than answers over the past 25 years. With drugs, prostitution, and government corruption, this story needs to be told in two episodes. This is part one. Part two will be available next week.
